Is Riding Weissbach difficult to learn?
Riding a Weissbach bike is not only intuitive but remarkably easy to master.
Unlike skiing or snowboarding, where learning learning the basics can take days, Weissbach riding offers a significantly faster progression.
It’s truly for everyone - within a couple of hours, you’ll be carving and drifting down the slopes and before you know it, you’ll be exploring off-piste terrain.
How do you Brake/Stop?
As you obviously have no brakes like on a MTB, braking is similar to the physics of skiing. Instead of pulling the brake lever, you control your speed and stop by positioning the bike sideways. It’s a skill that’s easy to learn and incredibly satisfying to master. Visit our tutorials section to see how it works. Our guides will have you braking like a pro in no time.
How does the lift transportation work?
Bringing your Weissbach Bike up the mountain with a ski lift is seamless.
Whether you’re using a T-bar, a chairlift, or a gondola, you’ll find that our bikes integrate effortlessly into the lift systems of most ski resorts.
In our basic training you gain sufficient understanding of the process ensuring everything runs smoothly.
If you are keen to have a look in advance you can check out our step-by-step ski-lift tutorials.
