WARRANTY FOR WEISSBACH PRODUCTS
1. Warranty CoverageWeissbach guarantees that its products are free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery. All products are designed to meet the highest standards of quality and performance, but they are not indestructible.
The warranty covers defects that occur within two years from the date of delivery to the end consumer, unless local regulations stipulate otherwise. The use of replacement parts under warranty does not extend the original warranty period unless otherwise required by applicable law.
2. Warranty Claims and ServicesIn the event of a defect, it is at Weissbach’s discretion to repair, replace the product with a comparable model, or return it. The specific course of action will depend on the circumstances of the defective product and applicable legal provisions.
Weissbach also reserves the right to use new, refurbished, or reconditioned parts in warranty repairs. Decisions regarding goodwill gestures, such as whether a repair outside the warranty period is carried out partially or entirely free of charge, are at Weissbach’s sole discretion.
3. Exclusions from WarrantyThe warranty does not cover:
- Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, collisions, or neglect- Defects caused by improper maintenance or the use of parts or accessories not approved by Weissbach
- Modifications or alterations that have not been expressly approved in writing by Weissbach
- Paint or coating damage caused by external factors such as stone chips, salt, industrial emissions, or improper or insufficient cleaning
- Normal wear and tear, as well as damage caused by competitive sports, commercial use, or rental services
- Damage due to natural disasters such as floods, hail, or lightning strikes
4. End User Responsibilities
The end user is responsible for maintaining the vehicle in accordance with the instructions provided in the owner’s manual. Warranty claims will be voided if any failure is directly attributable to inadequate or improper maintenance. The end user is responsible for all maintenance costs, including scheduled inspections and servicing.
Weissbach may require the end user to provide documentation of proper maintenance, such as maintenance logs, repair orders, or receipts for parts and materials used in the service.
5. Warranty Claims ProcedureIf you wish to make a warranty claim, please send a detailed description of the issue along with a picture of the defective product to office@weissbach-bikes.com. Include the following information: your full name, address, phone number, product model, vehicle identification number, purchase date, and a detailed description of the defect.
Upon receiving your claim, Weissbach will coordinate with you and, if applicable, authorized dealers in your region to determine the next steps. All warranty work must be carried out in accordance with Weissbach’s instructions.
6. Weissbach’s RightsWeissbach reserves the right to decide whether a new, refurbished, or reconditioned part will be used in the warranty repair process. All parts returned and replaced under this warranty become the property of Weissbach. Weissbach also reserves the right to make final decisions regarding the disposal of components submitted for warranty evaluation.
No company or individual is authorized to assume any liability or warranty obligation on behalf of Weissbach.
7. Warranty Applicability
The warranty applies to claims made in the jurisdiction where the product and/or services were originally delivered. Warranty claims must always comply with the local laws of that jurisdiction.
